Young And The Restless News: Eric Braeden Tweets Judith Chapman – Gloria Returning?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) star Eric Braeden tweets to Judith Chapman to let her know that she is missed on the show. Many fans took his tweet to hint at a Gloria Bardwell return in the near future. And, the Y&R fanbase couldn’t be more thrilled at the thought!

Gloria Vanished on Young and the Restless

Gloria has been a part of the show for many years. She came on the show as Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) abusive mother. She allowed Kevin’s father abuse him in ways that most cannot even fathom. After some time, both sons made peace with her as she fell in love and married John Abbott (Jerry Douglas).

Gloria has been part of the show for almost two decades. She brings humor to the show that most actors just cannot pull off. She is not perfect, but she strives sot be a better person and better herself in any way she can.

Former showrunner Mal Young didn’t appreciate her history and he made a point to make fun of it. He made her a joke of the show. It wasn’t long before she disappeared.

Eric Doesn’t Understand Her Young and the Restless Exit

Braden made a point to say knows why she left, hinting that it was Young’s doing. He praised her for being a wonderful actress and he wished she would return to the series. It seems to point out that with a new writing regime, Chapman could return to the show.

Eric tweeted, “ @real_jchapman we miss you on Y&R! Why you ever left is a mystery, no longer! You are a wonderful actress & I wished you were back gracing us with your great performances! Yours, Eric.”
