Sharing a photo of Monty at the grocery store, Rikaart captioned it with, “No shirt, no shoes, no service. Got it.” It also appears as though the little boy has two different pairs of shoes on. But does it really matter? When you are as cute as Monty, you can get away with wearing just about anything in public!
In an interview with The Daily Beast, Rikaart recently opened up about some of the legal obstacles that many LGBT couples face during the adoption process. He admits that while things have gotten better, there is still a long way to go.

“The impact of that marbles through my life in countless ways, but a tangible example is the ease in which I became a father,” Rikaart said.
“Rob and I were in the delivery room as our son came into the world, we were well taken care of in our own hospital room with him until he was ready to come home, and we are listed as his two parents on his birth certificate.

“I think that also answers the question of how far we’ve come. Side note: in 2019 this example is not the norm in MANY states. LGBT people who wish to become parents can still face legal obstacles, which is exhibit A that the fight is still not over.”

With that said, it’s without a doubt that Rikaart sees fatherhood as the most important role of his life. While there’s no doubt that he is a very talented actor, he’s also a great father who always puts his son and his family life ahead of some of the other things in his life.

Greg’s little boy is cute but that is no way for a child to go out in public. Also he and his partner should get on potty training Monty. At 3 yrs. old, he should be.
That’s what I was thinking! Going to be FOUR years old soon, and still in DIAPERS??? That’s just wrong! And no child should go anywhere without a pair of shorts or pants on… I’m ok with the mismatched shoes… I love Greg and always enjoy seeing Kevin Fisher!
