Rumors have been circulating that Jordi Vilasuso could be the next Rosales to leave “The Young and the Restless.” Fortunately the actor, who plays Rey Rosales, took the time to assure his fans that he has no plans of leaving the show anytime soon.

Last week, there were reports that claimed Vilasuso may be headed back to “Days of Our Lives” as Dario Hernandez. It all started when news broke that Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) was returning to DOOL, and there is a possibility that Dario could be her baby daddy.

Viewers may recall that Jordan was last seen at Bayview Mental to get the help that she needed. Now that she’s set to return to Salem, viewers of the show are wondering who the father of her child could be could be and some believe it could be Dario.

Vilasuso played the role of Dario from 2016 to 2017. Now that Rey and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) have separated on “the Young and the Restless,” there has been some speculation that Vilasuso would return to “Days of Our Lives.”

However, the actor was quick to dispel the rumor before it blows out of proportion. He replied to a fan who asked if he was really leaving the show and said, “Not leaving Y&R.” He also responded to another follower and said “just rumors.”

Viewers may recall that Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) and Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzales) have recently left the show. Now, it’s only Rey and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) who’s left on the show.

It’s only natural for viewers to worry that Rey might also be leaving the show. Apart from Vilasuso’s effort to set the record straight, spoilers also revealed that his character and Sharon might be reconciled soon.

Apart from that, Rey is set to walk his sister, Lola, down the aisle during her wedding to Kyle Abbot (Michael Mealor). Their mother, Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) may also be present on that special day.

Also, Sharon may have already come to her senses about Adam, which means there is still a chance that she and Rey could get back together. Viewers have to tune in to find out what’s next with the Rosales family. But one thing is for sure, Rey is staying put in Genoa City, at least for now.
