Kristoff St. John’s fiancé, Kseniya Mikhaleva, was unable to attend his funeral. In a heartbreaking post on Instagram, she explained why and how painful it was for her to not be able to see him one last time.
Mikhaleva shared that the embassy denied her application for a special visa to fly to the United States and attend the memorial service for the actor. She said that the reply from the Embassy was “no.”
“My heart is broken. I am going through this with a huge pain in my heart, and realize that I don’t have opportunity to say goodbye to him and put flowers on his grave. It is not right, not fair,” she continued. “Any person in my place would be torn into pieces. It’s scary, painful, that I cannot be with my loved one and his family on his last journey to eternal peace.”

“Fly, my love, and finally find peace.” Mikhaleva revealed that the last time she saw him was in Moscow a month before he died. She shared that she still can’t believe that Kristoff is gone so early and unexpectedly.
Mikhaleva said she learned so much from St. John in two years that they were together, and that they had many plans for the future, including getting married. “With him gone, I have no idea what to do.”
The Russian-born model also clarified that she has not opened any funding campaign. “I have seen several funds claiming that they were opened by me,” she said. “I have not opened and am not planning to open any funds. Everything that you see was/is fake.”
