Both have been reportedly moved from contract to recurring roles. Although the soap has not made any official announcement, the news came from an insider and based on the most recent show’s credits.
Lexie Stevenson and Noah Alexander Gerry first appeared on the Young and The Restless when their characters were SORASed. Charlie and Mattie Ashby were originally played by Brandin Stennis and McKenna Roberts, respectively.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Cane Ashby And Lily Winters Are Divorcing
Stevenson and Gerry’s shift to recurring status may have been brought on by Neil Winter’s (Kristoff St. John) death and Lily Ashby’s (Christel Khalil) decision to leave to get a fresh start. With these developments, the twins are left with almost no storyline.
Looking back at the released spoilers, Lily wants to get a divorce from Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). Viewers know how much Lily loves Cane, but it is also true that she didn’t trust him that much. Additionally, Cane mentioned that the twins have left for college to Traci Abbot (Beth Maitland), which has set the stage for Charlie and Mattie’s exit from the soap.
Stevenson rose to fame when she joined Y&R in 2017. At a very early age, she already knew she wanted to act. Her parents sent her to voice lessons and supported her when she competed in the Miss Main Teen USA pageant. She starred in various theater shows and appeared in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip in 2015.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Twins Are Likely Not Gone For Good
Gerry also made his debut on the Young and The Restless together with Stevenson in May 2017. Like her, Gerry had a passion for acting since he was a kid. As a child, he has appeared in various regional theater productions and local television commercials.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Gerry decided to move to Hollywood to follow his dream. The actor appeared in the Disney Channel series A.N.T. Farm” and Family Tree.
The twins are off screen for now, but that doesn’t mean they are gone for good. The Young and The Restless show-runners always have the option to bring the twins back if they want to.
