Mia Rosales, portrayed by Noemi Gonzalez, was a character on the Young and The Restless (Y&R) that viewers love to hate. Now, she’s saying goodbye to her fans as Gonzales exits the soap. Her last episode aired on May 20 when Mia and Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) went to Miami to start a new life together.

Gonzalez took some time to bid goodbye to her fans and posted a photo of when she first started on Y&R.

“I took this picture to send to my mom — a sneak peek of me in my gown for the opening credits of Y&R,” Gonzalez said. “And now I gratefully share this with you all.”

Young And The Restless News – Gonzalez Took The Time To Thank Fans

“Yesterday was my last episode of Mia Rosales, and I want to thank everyone who tuned in, supported me, this iconic show, and the Rosales family. But most importantly, a special thank you to the ones who saw me.

“Those of you from all over who sent me love and encouragement while I gave it my all in the soap world and met its loyal fans. Lord knows this was a crazy amazing chapter in my career that I won’t soon forget thanks to my new loyal loves. All this to say I see you, and I love and appreciate you. Stay tuned for what comes next!”

Mia appeared in Genoa City in November 2018 as the estranged wife of Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). It didn’t take long to reveal the real reason why Mia and Rey’s relationship was strained. Viewers discovered that she had an affair with his brother Arturo and still harbored feelings for him.

Young And The Restless News – Mia Rosales Was Always Stirring Up Trouble

During her brief stint on the sudser, Gonzalez’s character was always stirring up trouble. She meddled in relationships, faked a pregnancy, and even landed her sister-in-law Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) in the hospital. Now that she’s with Arturo, hopefully her character will stay good, even if it’s off-screen.

Gonzalez’s other TV credits include “East Los High,” “Gang Related,” “Rosewood,” and “Dark/Web.” She also appeared on films like “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones” as Evette Arista, “The Vatican Tapes” as Maria, and “The Good Nanny” as Marie.

Good riddance to bad rubbish, I’m happy to see the tail end of both of them. I hope Rey joins them soon but I guess since his mom is coming to town he won’t be leaving any time soon. I am excited to see Eva LaRue again.

At least Mia had witty comments and sarcasm! Lola will make you a sandwich and look longingly into Kyle ‘s eyes, but where is her spunk? Where are her zingers and one-liners ? If anyone should leave it should be Lola. Mia was fun to watch, much more so than Lola drooling over Kyle and I bet some of that gets in her gourmet cuisine!
