Young And The Restless News: Robert Adamson Gets A New JobRobert Adamson, best known for his character Noah Newman on “The Young and The Restless,” landed a new gig in an upcoming feature film titled “Kissing Cousins.” Adamson will play the role of Rick in the film, which is currently in post-production.

The movie revolves around Jamie Mayfield (Emma Bell) who leaves his unfaithful husband behind as she travels along with her six-year-old son to North Carolina to visit her family. She falls in love with a charming man, unaware that he is her cousin who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. The movie has no release date yet so fans have to wait for further updates.

Earlier this year, Adamson announced on Instagram about a new short film, which he wrote and directed. The story focuses on a young couple’s struggles as new parents. The short film, titled “Blue Beach,” stars Madeleine Blomdahl, Owen Kneeland, and Zach Atticus.

Adamson has portrayed his alter ego, Noah, on “The Young and The Restless” for five years. He made his first appearance in the last quarter of 2012 and exited the soap in the first quarter of 2018. He was written off when his character was sent overseas.

On his Twitter account, Adamson said, “I want to say Thank You for all he support ive recieved over more than 5 years portraying Noah Newman. The cast and crew truly became my family. While i dont believe this is officially goodbye, Noah will not be back to Genoa City in the near future.”

Although the return of his character seemed highly unlikely as per his tweet, he’s still open to visiting “The Young and The Restless.” Adamson added that he will “personally be back anytime they wish, schedule permitting.”

He also said that he always tried to live by his mantra, “The Job Always Ends.” Having said that, he considers every end as a new beginning and although he is still looking forward to portraying Noah once again, he said he’s also excited to take on new projects in the future.

Adamson’s other TV credits include “Cold Case,” “Lincoln Heights” as Charles Antoni, “Hollywood Heights” as Phil Sanders, and “NCIS.”
