Young and the Restless Rumors: Is Chance Chancellor Dead?

The Young and the Restless rumors indicate that the mystery surround Chance Chancellor’s (John Driscoll) disappearance could lead to a gruesome discovery.

Chance has been at the center of two Y&R storylines in recent months. The first had to do with his association with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in Las Vegas. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) learned of Adam and Chance’s partnership when she went to Nevada to do some snooping. It’s unknown what the two men were doing in Vegas, but it could have something to do with Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will.

Recently, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has been dealing with legal issues regarding his grandmother’s estate. Chance has contested the will saying the original document wasn’t Katherine’s wishes and that her son Tucker McCall (Stephen Nichols) forged the will. Chance’s grandmother Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has been in Devon’s corner and is also seeking answers about the will. However, Jill hasn’t been able to get in contact with Chance.

Cane Ashby (Daniel Goodard) who is also part of the will storyline went to Vegas to seek answers from Chance. After not getting answers from Adam, Cane received a text from Chance to meet him at an industrial park. However, Cane was knocked unconscious and dragged away by a mysterious assailant.

The disappearance of Chance has lead to speculation from viewers and the big question of whether Chance is alive.

Adam keeps saying that Chance has gone off the grid and doesn’t want to be found. But is he covering up the fact that Chance could be dead.

We don’t know what type of shady business Adam and Chance were involved with, but could their partnership have taken a wrong turn? We know Adam has a vengeful side and in a fit of rage had Chance killed.

Or there’s a possibility the mysterious Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani) had something to do with Chance’s disappearance.

The mystery around Chance continues to grow with everyone looking for answers. With him being involved in a big storyline, fans thought the character would pop up by now, but so far there’s been no sign of him. You have to wonder if we’ll ever see Chance on Y&R ever again.
