According to the Young and the Restless spoilers, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) should move on with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). One fan brought up the idea on the Soap Central forums. The user believes they would make the perfect pairing since they’re both down-to-earth and have dealt with cheating exes.

“Are you open to a Chance Elena pairing?” the title reads. “We got to see Elena with Adam (Mark Grossman) and they didn’t really spark the way I thought. Plus, it was under very somber circumstances. I would like to see Elena and Chance in a scene or two just to get a feel for what they could be like together. These are two beautiful people and they should be in a pairing, IMO.”

Other Y&R fans took to the thread to react. One fan noted that they would make a boring pairing. The user feels that the characters of Chance and Elena need to be balanced out with someone else who pops on-screen. This could lead to a dull relationship since there’s no spark or passion. Plus, they’re also drama-free characters. Other fans seem to agree.

“No, because they aren’t on enough and they’d be terribly boring,” another user noted. “No. Chance needs a high-energy partner and Elena needs high-energy, invested writing,” a third wrote.

Other Y&R fans feel that Elena should get her own storyline. She doesn’t need a man. She just needs a well-written storyline that makes her character come to life. “I would just like to see Elena with a story of her own. The character is sadly underused. Why do women always have to ‘be with someone’?” one user argued.
