Case and Muhney have remained close friends and stayed in touch even after Muhney made his exit from the soap. The speculations about the probable return of Adam surfaced after the two shared a series of videos where they can be seen singing and sharing movie quotes.

Fans who saw the videos posted on the two’s social media accounts immediately, commenting that they would love to see him back on the show. Avid viewers of the soap know that just like them, Sharon is also hoping that Muhney would score a new deal with the show’s bosses so he can once again return as Adam Newman.

Adam is dead on the soap and we don’t think that would change anytime soon. Although it is possible for Michael Muhney to make a return to The Young and The Restless, Mal Young is tight-lipped as to whether he will recast Muhney. This comeback would surely be welcomed by the soap’s viewers, especially since they have been wanting to see him come back to their TV screen after Justin Hartley left the show and moved to “This is Us.”
