Young And The Restless Spoilers: Adam Newman’s Memory Returns — Nick And Victoria Wage War

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of May 20 tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will work hard to bring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into the Newman family trust. He feels like he needs to make it up to Adam for their turbulent past. But the question is, will the Newman family put any trust in Adam? Here’s what’s ahead on Y&R.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Gets His Memory Back

Last week, Adam was shot, and needed surgery. When he woke up, he remembered Victor by calling him dad. Of course, this makes Victor very happy. He cannot wait to tell the family that Adam is back and he has his memory.

The family is less than accepting. They cannot accept him and remember all the bad things he’s done in the past. Victor cannot help but feel protective of Adam and he urges the family to give him another chance.

The thing is, even before Adam did anything wrong, the Newmans always felt like they were better than him. They saw him as a farmer’s son who didn’t belong in their family. So, Victor may be fighting a losing battle to get Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to accept Adam back into the back.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick And Victoria Want Adam Gone

In an attempt to rid Adam out of their lives, Nick and Victoria try to convince their dad to send Adam somewhere safe outside of Genoa City. Y&R spoilers state that they tell their father that with the shooter still at large, he isn’t safe here.

Y&R spoilers state that Victor doesn’t believe they have Adam’s best interest in mind, and he is disappointed they are not willing to give his son another chance. Victor finds Nick’s attitude troubling, since Nick and Adam had made amends before he was presumed dead in 2016.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) tries to convince Victor to give the family some time to adjust. She thinks they will all accept Adam eventually, but it may take some time. Victor doesn’t want to give them time to come to terms with it. In his mind, if he doesn’t fix his relationship with Adam, he could lose him forever.
