Adam Newman wants to pitch in to help while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) recovers and recuperates from the very serious stab wounds she suffered during the Newman Gala, when Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) stabbed her in the art installation, mistaking her for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) because Amanda and Victoria had on similar garments, both had hair pulled back in a long ponytail, both had been seen talking to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and the lights had been dimmed in the room and Ripley approached from the back and stabbed her in the side.

Adam makes an offer to step into Victoria’s shoes in her absence – but because of Adam’s past shenanigans, his motives are questioned!

Y&R Spoilers – The Newmans Are Suspicious That Adam Newman Will Try To Push Victoria Newman Out Of The Company

The Newmans are suspicious that Adam Newman may try to push Victoria out of the company, or possibly even take it over in her absence and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) retirement status. Not everyone trusts Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) either – because of her past.

Chelsea actually wouldn’t have any standing in the company, but now they are engaged so if Adam did take Victoria’s spot and they do get married she could have legal standing. Right now she doesn’t but she could have influence! Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) trusted her as a partner in The Grand Phoenix, but her opinion of being a CEO of Newman Enterprises’ wife may be another story entirely!

After all, Adam basically swindled Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) out of Dark Horse and nobody is forgetting that! That alone is enough to make the Newmans and especially Nick, suspicious of Adam’s motives. Chelsea even mentioned that to him prior to his pitch to Victor to help, that they may be suspicious of his motives because of his taking Dark Horse out from under Nick.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – The Newman Family Is Under Stress Right Now

The Newman family, however strong they may be individually and together, are all feeling the stress of one of their own being severely wounded and the perpetrator still on the loose – even though the police are pretty certain of who it is because of Amanda Sinclair’s statement, they are all worried about Victoria.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Victor immediately went to “Billy Boy” is the perpetrator and was ready to tear him apart with his bare hands until Amanda showed up and realized what had happened! Amanda had been talking to Billy in the art installation first, left, and then when Ripley looked again, Victoria had actually come to tell him to leave and Ripley had mistaken Victoria for Amanda.

Everyone is suspicious of everybody in spite of Amanda’s statement and that Victoria could still be in danger, and those suspicions carry over to the company and Adam’s offer to help as well!
