The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that the woman in Las Vegas with the missing husband and missing money that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) hears Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) discussing after having their table bugged might be Mrs. Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise)!

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Simon Black Was Looking For Missing Money That Calvin Boudreaux Stole From Him

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that when Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) came to Genoa City trying to shake down Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) for money that he claimed her late husband, Calvin Boudreaux (John Burke) had stolen from him, he told her that the money had been in a storage unit and then when he went to look for it, it was missing!

There was never anything said that either this storage unit was in Las Vegas or Simon himself had come from Las Vegas, but since the last place Chance Chancellor was seen was in Las Vegas with Adam Newman, and Chance tracked Simon Black to Genoa City, it makes sense! Simon, of course would be “missing” now because Chance and his FBI associates arrested him and he is now in prison.

Now Adam and Chance are dealing with a woman asking questions about her missing husband and a missing stash of money he had – could Simon have had a wife, or a girlfriend claiming to be his wife? Unless they were in process of a divorce and Simon never kept in touch with her, it’s more likely to be someone claiming to be his wife than an actual wife.

This woman may only be claiming to be married to Simon Black – unless the name “Simon Black” is an alias to begin with, surely if she were his wife he would have contacted her or his lawyer would have that he was intercepted by the FBI and in prison, and that the money was not able to be retrieved.

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Chelsea had Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) launder the money, and then the Feds seized the bank he used and all its assets, so the money could not be retrieved. This is what caused much of the problem to begin with, Chelsea’s bad luck being this Simon laying claim to it and wanting it back!

But it seems to be quite the coincidence that Simon couldn’t find the money he accused Calvin of stealing from their “storeroom” and Simon now in prison, with Chance having been on his trail and now some woman in Las Vegas that apparently both he and Adam associated with while there together, complaining about a missing husband and his missing money! Could Adam have helped Chance with a sting on Simon, and this woman either have been Simon’s wife or a woman claiming to be Simon’s wife after the money that she thought he still had? Time will tell!
