The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Was Arrested For The Murder Of Adam Newman Before
Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Victoria was arrested for Adam’s murder before – when it was found that he was stabbed with her pen. This was way back when Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) was a little boy. Obviously, he didn’t die and he has faked his own death more times than Victor has!
But how much trouble has Adam caused the Newman family over the years? In 2010 he framed, albeit accidentally, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for his murder when he faked it; he committed perjury in the Newman Trust fund arbitration hearing in 2011; he collided with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to destroy Newman Enterprises in 2013; then he faked his death again in 2014, he blackmailed Victor into making him CEO of Newman-Abbott in 2015; he was behind the Paragon Project to destroy Victor, also in 2015; sabotaged Newman Enterprises in 2015, and then just last year he tampered with the dosage of Victor’s medication and nearly killed him, and framed Victoria for it!
Victoria has come to the point of ENOUGH! in not only Adam’s shenanigans but Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) as well! Her job at Newman Enterprises as CEO was what was giving her a sense of control amidst uncontrollable situations, and now Adam’s been made CEO, fired her, and taunted her about tearing down every deal that she had made since she was in the CEO spot! Victoria’s anger, coupled with her sense of loss of control, could make for a deadly combination and Victoria may go totally off the rails and try to kill Adam to rid the Newman family of him for good, if for no other reason than deadly revenge!
Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Also Angry At Victor Newman
Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Victoria is also angry at her father, Victor for not taking a more aggressive approach to shutting Adam’s blackmail him down. In this case, the threat is bad publicity, possibly leading to murder charges for Victor from years ago in the death of AJ Montalvo, (uncredited character) the loan shark father of Adam’s childhood friend, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenica) who supposedly fell to his death out of a hayloft.
Alyssa, now an investigative crime reporter, had dug up information that AJ’s death was probably not an accident, with Adam’s promise to publish her exposé on a website he owned, which so far he has not done because if he publishes it now, he loses his leverage over Victor. Victoria came across Alyssa at The Grand Phoenix and warned her that whatever promises that Adam had made her were lies – and told her he only wanted the intel so he could blackmail Victor, which is true, but that doesn’t mean Adam may not publish it at some future time.
Victoria, obviously, wants to come between Adam and his childhood friend! She told her not to tell Adam about their conversation and she would contact her later! She also was angry and showed her need for control and power when she went to Chancellor Media and laid into Billy for not keeping his date with their kids, and he had said he didn’t want to bother her at work and called the nanny.
She lit into him when he was trying to be supportive, ranting, “I make the calls here, not you!” She then proceeded to tell him she can fight and win this battle with Adam and Victor on her own after Billy had told her Victor could stand to be knocked down a peg! Those are a lot of anger and control issues, and Adam had better watch his back!
