Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest a ton of shockers in the weeks ahead, and it’s hard not to think this could be about the storyline involving Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). In a stunning move, Ash bought up McCall’s debt and is now encouraging him to sell McCall Unlimited to his son Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Does she have something up her sleeve to bring Tucker down, or is she simply trying to help transform him into a decent man that she can call her own?

When Ashley first returned to Genoa City from her time in Paris, it seemed as if she was up to no good. Buying Tucker’s debt caught many Y&R fans off guard, and it looked like Ash was bent on serving some revenge to her ex over all the misdeeds he had done since he came back to town.

With that said, encouraging him to sell his legacy to his son to help forge a bond is a nice gesture on Ashley’s part. Especially since her main goal around all this is wanting to see Tucker patch things up with Devon.

While Ms. Abbott had been cold to any ideas around a reunion when she stormed back into GC, as of late, she is warming up to the idea. The two even shared a kiss, recently. Was Ashley’s plan all along to simply transform Tucker into the man she wants him to be? After all, she clearly still has feelings there, and the two have always had such fun together.

It looks as if Ash is taking matters into her own hands. She loves Tucker, the two have chemistry, and their romance has been a highlight when compared to other failed relationships. He’s not an overly terrible guy, he just needs some tweaking to get him there, right? As Ms. Abbott knows how his mind works, perhaps she formulated this plan to help nudge him into becoming the man of her dreams.

On the other hand, while Ashley is considered a GC “heroine”, she has been known to scheme a plot (or two) in her day for her own self-advancement. Could Ashley’s current plan for Tucker and Devon all be part of a bigger plot that will elevate Jabot?
