Several months ago, it came out that he had multiple personality disorder, which caused him to lash out at Adam. He wants to get control over his emotions, but the anger he has towards Adam over Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) is overwhelming.

Billy promised Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and his family that he will move past Delia’s death and work toward healing. He has been stuck in grief and grappling with his anger toward the youngest Newman son.

Even though he promised he’d move on, he still has a very hard time with it. He wants to feel good and happy again, but it is hard to do that with so much emotional baggage.

The troubled young father has been a mess since his daughter died in 2013. He wants to move on and not feel sad about the loss of his daughter, but he cannot move past his grief and anger toward Adam, who ran Delia over on a snowy winter night.

Since he cannot move past his grief, his alternative personality comes out to protect himself from his own feelings. Will someone be able to reach Billy and help him grief his daughter’s death in a healthy way?
