Cane and Lily have struggled to connect after she was sent to a prison farther away from their home on Young and the Restless. He is unable to get in touch with her over the phone and Lily has also declined to see him and their children, all of which were part of Christel Khalil’s plan to give her character less screen time on the soap.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Prison Takes Toll On Lily
Lily has been avoiding her husband and kids because she believes that is the best way for her to survive the time she needs to spend in prison. She has a lot of things to tell Cane, but since she cannot do this in person she opted to write him a letter instead. She hopes her letter will make Cane better understand their situation, but it only made him realize that his marriage with her is a mess.
Plus, Young and the Restless spoilers tease that there’s the fact that Cane has been thinking about his kiss with Victoria Newman. He fears that if someone finds out about the kiss they shared he could end up losing his family altogether. The guilt continues to haunt him and Cane has no idea how to deal with it.

Jill finds Cane at the Ashby house lost in his thoughts. Jill urges Cane to tell her what is bothering him, and he confesses about kissing another woman. Cane refused to reveal who the woman was and simply told Jill that she is the last woman he’d want to be with.

Cane is consumed with anger and guilt and says he will tell Lily everything. Cane denies that the kiss meant something to him but Jill believes otherwise. She advises him to keep the kiss a secret and to stay away from the woman she kissed. She explains that telling Lily the truth will do more harm than good and what he needs to do is support and be with his wife.
Will this kiss have a repercussion later down the line?

It shouldn’t be. Maybe Cane should go see a prostitute (or lady of the night) so he can get rid of his masculine needs. He’s _ _ _ _ y. This way, he could keep his head on straight for about a week. It’s cheaper than a divorce. Besides Cane and Lily belong together.
maybe that should be a ”new ” story line , Cane getting ”involved” in a sordid affair with a ”lady of the night” A big secret to keep …. going ”down hill” quick !!

Lily left to pursue other opportunities. I heard that she is back now taping at Y & R.
We can only hope some of them will return but ya know people do like to make changes on their lives. I really only want Gloria back.
