According to reports, Young and the Restless is looking for a new actor to fill in for a mysterious role by the name of ‘Jeremy.’ As many soap fans know, the producers usually keep the true identity of the characters a secret during the casting call. One actor named Ben Harlan recently revealed that he read for the part. He said that the females in the casting call ‘Jeremy’ a psychopath. The script also calls for Jeremy to try and charm a woman who he recently did wrong.
In another scene, a female tells ‘Jeremy,’ “What made you reach out now? You don’t regret things, Jeremy, you take what you need, and do what you have to, and you move on…like you did with me.”
This sounds like Adam might be coming back to Genoa City to tie up some loose ends! So far producers for The Young and the Restless have not made any comments about the possibility of Adam Newman coming back, but that hasn’t stopped fans from sharing their thoughts on social media.
Now that head executive and writer Mal Young is no longer on the show, it looks like the soap might be going in a new, exciting direction. Hopefully, this also means that some old favorites will be returning as well. We’ve got our fingers crossed!

Yes, the show is at a stalemate, same ole stuff, Newmans, Newmans, Newmans, who cares, but it doesn’t sound like Adam to me, more like Travis!!

Lala I agree with you 100 percent! Eventually Victor will be leaving and who better to replace him would be Adam. I am always hoping and praying miss him.
Sounds more like a dialogue MacKenzie would have with JT! I’m certain JT is alive. Adam is a far way off yet from returning, if ever. Maybe Scott is returning, or a Dylan recast… Dialogue like that would fit them, too! And bring back Paul!!

Adam never treated any woman he was involved with badly. If anythinghe went in the total opposite direction. The call referenced in the casting call did not sound anything like anyone would say to Adam. But I’m all about Adam returning. But only if he is played by Michael Muhney.
