The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the glorious news that your favorite soap has a return date: Monday, August 10, 2020. The #1 rated daytime drama confirmed this morning that it will be back with all new episodes the second week in August.
The announcement seemed to be precipitated by a tweet last night from Eric Braeden (Victor Newman). When asked by a fan when new episodes will air the veteran actor replied, “I think in second week of August…I think, don’t quote me though.”

The show began airing repeat episodes after falling short of new content due to the work stoppage caused by the coronavirus. In July the cast and crew returned to the set under new COVID-19 guidelines and have been working ever since.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: New Y&R Episodes Are Back!
On Monday, August 10 it’s the anniversary of Katherine Chancellor’s dedication at Chancellor Park and we will see Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) interview Genoa City’s finest as they celebrate the event and head down memory lane.
Then on Tuesday, August 11 comes an episode which was filmed before the pandemic shut down production and we see Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) confronting her life following breast cancer surgery. Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) gets in Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) face and Billy and Lily are once again featured as they bicker over a potential hire for Chancellor Communications.

On Wednesday, August 12 Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will cool her jets over a budding romance with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Meanwhile Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) join forces to help a struggling Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Also, Summer Newman (Hunter King) comes clean about her parents’ Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) rebound.
On Thursday, August 13 Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) helps Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) prepare for fatherhood. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) annoys Victor big time, and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) tries to prove he’s not a murderer.
Friday, August 14 brings a mighty cliffhanger of an episode with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) getting closer to Amanda, Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) try at peacemaker for the Newman family fails, and Jack and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) are reminded of their family’s sketchy past.

Bad move to start with the past. They need to shock with all new stuff like B&B and GH.
We need all new. Agree that it is a bad move to drag up the past.
I’m just happy we are getting new shows , no matter the content for now , Let’s see just see how they develop !!
