Y&R spoilers for the week of August 21st suggest that Chance will accept a role, and be ready to dive in. Sounds like he’ll be asked to fill in Paul’s shoes, and this is a great opportunity for Chancellor.
GC’s township “higher-ups” will see just how hard he’s worked as a cop, and value his expertise and knowledge to give him the promotion.

However, it’s not hard to see that this could affect his romance with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Y&R Spoilers – Could Chance Become “Too Busy” For Sharon (& Vice-Versa)?
Sharon and Chance have just begun a new romance. The couple is cute together, but one major thorn in their side is their schedules.
Chancellor was busy enough as it was, being just a cop on the GCPD; meanwhile, Ms. Rosales is now very preoccupied with trying to run Adustus with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Sharon understands the schedule of a cop, after all, she was married to one before Rey Rosales’s (Jordi Vilasuso) untimely death.

Plus, the demands of a police commission could be greater. It’s not that Sharon would be upset at Chance because of his career, but there’s a good chance that both may come to the conclusion that they are too “busy” to foster a proper relationship.
They could decide to part ways in a friendly manner. After all, that could open the door for a Shick or Shadam reunion for Sharon, and Chance could move on to Summer Newman-Abbott (Alison Lanier).

Please let chance and Sharon stay together. They make a great couple and they really like and trust each other. Please no Summer and Chance romance, summer is too much of a winer and is alittle immature for Chance.

When will Victor put Kyle and Audra in their place after what they have done to Summer? Can’t stand their high and mighty attitudes.
Chance becoming chief of police is EXTREMELY ridiculous. And Sharon all of a sudden becoming bloodthirsty well spoken perfect businesswoman is also ridiculous.
Sharon is too old to date Chance – he is old enough to be her son – just shows how bad the writing is for this show anymore! And for Victor to be against his sons but hold Audra and Kyle in higher regard – just shows how much writers again are not looking at the bigger picture – all they care about is making sure they keep the idiotic drama going no matter if it makes sense or not.
