Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chance’s Shooting Stirs Up Sharon’s PTSD Over Losing Rey

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of November 6th note some heavy emotions will be felt after Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) lands in the hospital. As per this week’s preview video, it looks like he’ll be in a coma due to a shooting, which will have his mom reeling, as well as Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and “friend” Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

With that being said, will his gal pal experience some heavy déjà vu?

Y&R spoilers for the week of November 6th suggest that both Sharon and Summer will have a “standoff” of sorts when it comes to Chance.

Sharon is the cop’s girlfriend while Summer is a mere friend; however, Ms. Newman will see Chancellor in his predicament at the hospital and realize her feelings are so much deeper than she anticipated.

Soap spoilers can be overdramatic in general. Will Sharon be confrontational with Summer, or will she simply acknowledge and accept her once-stepdaughter’s feelings?

She may realize that she may have some serious competition when it comes to her boyfriend’s heart, but will she have another epiphany along the way?

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Backs Off Due To PTSD

Could Sharon decide to completely back off? She likely won’t break up with Chance while he’s at the hospital, but the entire scenario could bring back some awful memories about her husband Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), and his passing.

While Rey didn’t pass away in the line of duty, Sharon was always on pins and needles because of his job.

Plus, the fact that Rey was with her one moment, and then the next he was dead, may bring back some PTSD she suffered during his passing.

It took a long while for Sharon to move on from her husband’s death, and seeing Chance in that hospital bed may have her realizing that she’s not up for the challenge of dating a cop again.

Sharon wouldn’t dump Chance while he was down and out, but she may back off on their relationship once he’s out of the hospital and “okay”, opening a door for him to explore things with Summer.
