The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will learn that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is alive.
Pretty much everyone in Genoa City knows Victor is alive, although there are a select few that have been kept in the dark. Chelsea is one member of the family who doesn’t know about the Newman plan. But this week she learns the truth.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) lets Chelsea in their plan to let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) believe Victor’s dead so they can incriminate him for tampering with the medications. With Chelsea now discovering their plan, the question is what her reaction is going to be.
Since her return, Chelsea has teamed with the Newmans on the anti-Adam bandwagon. It wouldn’t be surprising to see her side with Nick and the Newmans yet again. If Chelsea feels that Adam is a danger to their son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) then she’s going to help the family in any way that she can.
However, there’s also the chance that Chelsea is going to be angry.

Nick has preached about the importance of honesty, yet he kept a secret like this from her. Chelsea saw how heartbroken Adam was over Victor’s death, and also Connor was upset about his grandfather. Upon learning that Nick helped Victor cover up his death, Chelsea’s going to be furious. She can’t believe that they would put the family through that much torture just to teach Adam a lesson.
Nick can claim he was protecting her and the family all he wants, but Chelsea will feel that’s no excuse for putting everyone through this emotional trauma.
With the truth out, Chelsea will have a couple of options. She’ll either go along with their plan for a little while longer or she’ll end up telling Adam the truth.
Whatever Chelsea decides to do, this will alter her relationship with Nick. She thought she could trust Nick, but having him pull a stunt like this will have Chelsea seeing him in a different light.
