The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will face legal consequences in the week ahead. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is the new DA and he wants to do the right thing. At least that’s what he is telling Genoa City.

Kevin is furious that his brother arrested him and Chloe. He cannot believe he would betray him in this way. At first, Michael arrested Chloe for Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) 2016 attempted murder.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Chloe Mitchell Is Arrested For Trying To Kill Adam Newman

Michael made the decision to arrest Chloe for attempted murder in 2016. Everyone thought she killed Adam by blowing up the cabin he was hiding in after his escape from prison. What everyone doesn’t know, but soon will find out, is that Chloe faked her death and she’s been alive and living in Seattle all along.

When Michael talks to Chloe, she begs him to leave Kevin out of this legal mess. She is worried about their daughter if they both go to jail. Soap Opera Digest points out that Chloe doesn’t want Kevin to go down for her crimes. She will face her own and she wants Kevin to be able to go home and be there for their little girl.

However, Michael refuses to back down.

Michael explains that he cannot let this go since Kevin punched him, as the DA, in front of everyone. The room was full of cops and he had no other choice. Y&R spoilers state that then, Michael reveals his real plan to them.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that he only arrested them for a show, mostly to make Adam happy. Kevin and Chloe are impressed with Michael’s plan and they realize that the Baldwins have each other’s backs.

Even though Michael seems to have a plan, the couple is very worried about something going wrong. Will Michael’s plan work out in their favor?
