Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue to be at odds with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) when it comes to co-parenting Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

The child’s obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) diagnosis has flipped the family’s life upside down, and while his two parents are trying to be as supportive as they can, they can’t see eye to eye on things, mainly when it comes to Connor’s treatment.

Even Chelsea was shaken up a bit when the doctors told the parents to leave, rather than helping Connor settle into his new surroundings as originally intended. It was hard for her to process the idea that she and Adam could be triggering her son’s OCD.

Still, Adam commented to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about the facility possibly being a scam, where they continually feed Connor with negative ideas to keep him in there and keep the money coming for treatments. Could he be right?

Still, soap operas have a flare for the dramatic, where stories can become over-the-top. Sadly, most daytime dramas that include mental health facilities with arcs tend to spotlight the “worst case scenario” where practitioners take advantage of their position.
