The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will get quite the shocker when he receives a call that there is an issue with his inheritance. It will be shocking to him as he thought his grandmother left him the money.
After Katherine died, she left her grandson billions of dollars. She wanted him to never have to worry about money and live the life he always dreamed of. And, he has mostly done great things with his cash.
Now, it looks like someone might be challenging his inheritance and the viewers cannot help but wonder if it has something to do with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) connection to Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll). Here’s what you need to know about what’s coming up on Y&R.

After all these years, Devon gets a call that there is someone that wants to challenge his inheritance from Katherine. It is something that blindsides him, as he struggles to see why someone would wait so long to try to take her money from him.
And, to make matters worse, the caller, presumably his attorney, has no idea who is challenging his stake in the Chancellor inheritance.
While Devon doesn’t suspect Adam, it’s clear that could be the direction the writers are going with this storyline.

Y&R Spoilers – Is Adam Newman To Blame?
The Y&R writers have not said much about Chance and Adam’s connection lately. There was some talk of it when Adam returned from Las Vegas, and not much since. Phyllis Abbott (Michelle Stafford) appeared to find out some dirt but based on the fact she never revealed any information on it, it’s unlikely.
The Young and the Restless fans know that this type of thing would be right up Adam’s alley. There had to be a reason they mentioned that Adam had been in contact with Chance.
However, the one thing none of the fans expected was for Devon to have his inheritance challenged. Tune in this week to see how it all plays out.

Why is it that every time up the standard of living of a black persons in any tv show, it is eventually taken away from him? Why? Because it appears that where this storyline is headed for Devon. Shameful.
I don’t think it has anything to do with the colour of his skin, soap writer’s do let any character to be happy for very long.
Gman And then there’s somebody who always has to post and throw in the race card. Get over it
Please get rid of this vindictive Adam Newman. And if it turns out to be Chance that’s after Devon’s inheritance,then I hope he’s not successful in getting a penny of it. The fact that it has taken this long for him to contest Katherine’s will means he’s in cahoots with Adam. I hope Devon, along with the Newmans, destroy them both.
Did you see today’s broadcast? Adam is not just straight up evil! He has feelings too! He finally did what you Nick fans wanted wich was to drop the custody suite and your still not satisfied! Adam loves both of his sons and has always been a good father to Connor! He may have went about it the wrong way but really all he wants is a chance to be a good father and a family that loves him back!
He gave up the custody fight for Christian so get off his case and cut him some slack!

Right on Candy! Peope of color can NEVER get a break not in real life or even on the darn Soaps. Wow! I think if they go this route and after 30 years, I will no longer watch the Y&R! Just look at the cast – 99.9% people of non-color! What a shame in these times, they still don’t get it!
