The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack Abbott and Diane Jenkins’ scenes on the soap this week will be a sappy one. Executive Producer/Head Writer Josh Griffith chimes in on the sad scene in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest (SOD).
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Scene Between Jack Abbott & Diane Jenkins Will Be A “Painful” One
Y&R spoilers suggest that Diane will request that Jack not visit her anymore. Griffith reveals to SOD that seeing Mr. Abbott will just be too painful for her. He symbolizes the love and redemption she thought she had captured; however, his visit shows her that she can no longer have those things.
Griffith states that Diane will feel hopeless about her situation. She’ll head back to her cell believing that this will be her way of life, moving forward. But Jack will be persistent, in so many ways.
Y&R Spoilers – Jack Brings Up Harrison, Could This Help Keep Diane Determined To Beat The Odds?
While Diane sulks in her situation, Jack’s determination to clear her name will only grow stronger. Griffith tells SOD that Mr. Abbott truly believes that Diane is innocent and wouldn’t do anything to “harm” Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). While she and Red had (have) quite the rivalry, Jack knows that Diane wouldn’t cross a line by poisoning her.
Griffith states that while Jack will do all he can to clear Diane’s charges, his main focus right now will also include lightening up her spirits and helping her current depressive state. During their conversation, Abbott brings up little Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) and the question of how he’ll deal with “DeeDee’s” absence.
Josh tells SOD that this will stir a strong reaction from Diane, which Jack is hoping can help carry her through this difficult time. But will it be enough to pull her out of her current slump for the long haul?
Will Phyllis and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) get away with framing Diane? Does she have any hope? Comment, below! Watch Young and the Restless on CBS daily to see what happens next and visit SOS for all the latest Y&R news and spoilers.
