You know what they say, never say never, because today Donny Boaz is one of the hottest hunks on daytime, starring as Chance Chancellor on CBS’s The Young and the Restless.
Donny’s manager deserves the credit for bringing the popular actor to The Young and the Restless soap cast as Boaz says he’s the one who convinced him to audition.
Young and the Restless Comings and Goings: Who Is Chance Chancellor?
Chance is the son of Nina Webster and Phillip Chancellor III. Chance and his mom left Genoa City around 2001 for a life in Los Angeles.
In 2008, Nina returned to town and told everyone that her son was in the military and deployed to the Iraq War. Nina came back the following year as did Chance.
In 2009 Chance discovered that his father was alive and he struggled to accept that his father lied to him. At that time he was into Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
At one point Chance was stabbed while at Crimson Lights and it is then that Chloe realized she had feelings for him as well. They declare their love for one another but Chloe turned down his marriage proposal.
Nonetheless, Chloe later asks Chance to marry her. He says yes but forgets to tell her that he had a one night stand!
Y&R Spoilers and Updates – Chance Chancellor Was Once Presumed To Be Dead
At another perilous point in his Young and the Restless story Chance was accidentally shot and killed—but not really as he obviously is alive and well today! Instead, he entered the witness protection program.
Down the line Chance comes back to Young and Restless’ Genoa City only to decide to leave again for the military which angers and disappoints Nina. He has a going-away party at the Chancellor Estate and it is revealed that Chance is working undercover to take down Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers).
CBS Young And The Restless Spoilers Scoop – What’s Next For Chance Chancellor In Genoa City?
Today Chance is back in town and seemingly here to stay at least for the foreseeable future. He developed a relationship with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) but it seems to have fizzled out when he wouldn’t break the law for her. He’s also in cahoots with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) which is never a good thing.
Love Donny! Glad to see him on Daytime.
