With the long-awaited finale to the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) storyline having arrived, many connected characters have now moved forward with their lives. Along with the coverup crew (the last time that nickname might be typed and used), the Abbott’s are thrust into new adventures, the Ashby family is dealing with a potential divorce and the celebration of Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) life.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – New Musical Storylines
Cait Fairbanks’ (Tessa) triple-threat is being revisited. This actor’s wonderful voice and musical talent is being rightly tapped again. Paralleling that development is the apparent unleashing of the wonderful Loren Lott’s (Ana) magnificent voice, along with that of her character’s father, Jett (Gilbert Glenn Brown).
Ana has been greenlighted by her brother Devon (Bryton James) to mentor Tessa and to help her father recover, which will hopefully result in Jett’s health being restored and his singing career reigniting. At the same time Ana’s cousin, Dr. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), is very appealing, as Devon and Nate (now played by recast, Sean Dominic) agree.
Doug Davidson’s (Paul) return to Y&R is known to be on a recurring, rather than a regular contract basis. Regardless, fans of this great, forty-plus year tenured cast member are thankful to see him back. Hopefully, Paul’s welcome of Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso’s) return to the force, with conditions, also means that the Chief will be seen as often as possible.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman’s Up To His Old Tricks
Vickie’s (Amelia Heinle) tell to Billy (Jason Thompson) about Victor’s (Eric Braeden) involvement in a poker game is very intriguing. Is the great man living a secret life, or pursuing the path of a family member, wink, Adam (as now played by recast Mark Grossman).
Kyle (Michael Mealor) actually cares for two women. How Summer (Hunter King) and Lola (Sasha Calle) handle this untenable triangle will certainly be worth the watch.
And then, there is the coming return of the great Michelle Stafford as Phyllis. Gina Tognoni’s softer edition will be respected by all Y&R fans who appreciate actors and value the genre.
