Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, December 27 – The Abbotts Celebrate Christmas At Society – Fen Returns Home – Dina Enjoys Time With Her Children

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, December 27, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be on the phone at home talking to his colleagues to finish the big deal that’s got him stuck in Genoa City for Christmas Eve. He’ll be frustrated that both sides haven’t settled on terms.

After Billy hangs up, he’ll text Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) saying that he’ll be in town overnight, and she’ll send a funny reply back. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will then walk in and startle Billy. Jack will invite Billy to join them for the Abbott Christmas dinner at Society, and Billy will say that he’ll be there. Afterward, Billy will text Amanda, asking her if she wants to get together later.

Y&R Spoilers– The Abbotts Prepare For Christmas Dinner

Next on Y&R, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will greet Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) in the Abbott living room. They’ll be in good moods since it’s Christmas and they’ll discuss the family’s dinner plans, although they’ll be disappointed that Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) won’t be there since the restaurant setting would overwhelm her.

Meanwhile, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) will get Society ready for the dinner. They’ll be in good spirits until Abby mentions Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Lola remarks that Theo has other plans for the night. Kyle will wonder how she knows about Theo’s plans, and Lola will say that she and Theo texted about it. Kyle won’t like that, but they’ll soon move past it.

Young and Restless Spoilers– Fen Baldwin Surprises His Parents

Next on Y&R, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will be feeing blue because Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) can’t be with them for the holiday. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will offer his support, and at that moment Fen will call Michael. He’ll put Fen on speakerphone and as they’re talking, he’ll appear in the doorway. Lauren will be overjoyed, and Fen will sit down at the table with them.

Fen will reveal that he’s now living in a halfway house, and that things are going well. They’ll discuss his relapse, which Lauren will say must have been more serious than they thought. Fen will confirm before apologizing to his parents and asking for their forgiveness. He’ll say that he felt like a disappointment, but Michael and Lauren will say that they are proud of him for getting help. They’ll then invite him to join them at the Abbott dinner.

Back at Society, people will start to arrive for the Abbot Christmas dinner, and several conversations will take place. Ashley and Abby will discuss Abby’s firing of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and Fen will congratulate Lola and Kyle on their marriage. After Billy arrives, he’ll hear about Fen’s relapse and recovery. Fen will say that he felt that he couldn’t trust himself anymore, but now he’s being the best version of himself that he can be. That will particularly interest Billy.

Y&R Spoilers–Jack Abbott Offers A Toast

Next on Y&R, Jack will offer some thoughts to the whole group. He’ll express his gratitude for everyone who is there and all of the great things that have happened during the year, including Billy and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) getting back together and Kyle and Lola’s marriage. He’ll also acknowledge Dina’s decline and the loss of Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) earlier this year. Everyone will toast.

As things come to a close, Billy will finally close his deal over the phone, and Traci will hand out signed copies of her new mystery novel. Through various conversations, Y&R viewers will learn that Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) is spending Christmas with Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), and that Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) are spending a quiet Christmas at home.

On their way out, Fen will give Michael and Lauren their present – a compass as a symbol of them being there to guide him. Fen will say that they saved his life, and the three of them will have a touching family moment and share a hug.

Young and Restless Spoilers– Lola Abbott & Kyle Abbott Exchange Gifts

At their apartment, Kyle and Lola will enjoy some time together on their first Christmas as a married couple. Kyle will want to get amorous, but Lola will say it’s time to exchange presents. Kyle will give Lola a book on the best restaurants and a voucher to travel to any one of them. Kyle will say they can visit them all. Lola will give Kyle a framed photo of the Idaho night sky, and she’ll say that she booked a cabin for them there so they could enjoy it in person. They’ll kiss.

Meanwhile, back at home, Billy will speak to Victoria and the kids by phone, He’ll tell Victoria that he’s hitting the hay so he can get up early for his flight to Telluride. After, he’ll consider a text from Amanda, but he’ll wind up playing cards by himself and drinking beer.

Y&R Spoilers–The Abbotts Celebrate With Dina Mergeron

Back at the Abbott estate, Dina will look at the Christmas tree and marvel at all of the presents. She’ll wonder if there’s a present there for her, and Ashley will say they’re all for her. After opening gifts, Jack will read a Christmas story, much to Dina’s delight. Ashley and Traci will thank Jack for the beautiful Christmas memory, and he’ll say that he should have brought in carolers.

Traci will then sing Oh Come All Ye Faithful, which Dina will thoroughly enjoy. Dina will stand and start singing along, and soon they’ll all join in and take hands as they finish the song and tell each other Merry Christmas.
