Young and the Restless Spoilers – Sharon prepares for her chemo treatment
At her home, Sharon is preparing meals for her family before her chemo treatment tomorrow. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) hugs Sharon as she talks about the messages of encouragement from an online support group. Rey encourages Sharon to open up, but she’s afraid that once she does the flood gates will open and she won’t be able to stop. She breaks down as she wonders why this is happening to her.
She keeps wishing that at any moment she’ll get a call from the doctor, saying the tests were wrong. She’s glad they caught the cancer early. As Rey goes to touch her, she warns him she may fall apart. Before she goes upstairs to pack, Sharon admits she’s scared. She also expresses taking so many things for granted and wishes she could go back to change things.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Cassie’s visit
Rey offers to stay the night at Sharon’s place, and suggests he can sleep on the couch. She declines by saying she’s an independent woman and will be fine on her own. Rey follows Sharon upstairs, and tucks her in the bed before leaving.
Sharon is in bed, struggling to go to sleep. She then wakes up and thinks Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is in the room, but it’s actually Cassie’s ghost. Sharon comments that Cassie always shows up when she needs her daughter. Cassie asks Sharon to come with her, and Sharon takes Cassie’s hand. Cassie says she wants to show her mother how strong of a woman she is. A scared Sharon says she’s not ready and asks Cassie to go away, and Cassie’s spirit disappears.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Sharon’s dream
In her dreamlike state, Sharon goes downstairs searching for Rey, but he’s not there. Sharon notices the door is open and walks out where she’s soon transported to Crimson Lights. Mariah is there serving coffee to customers. When Sharon asks Mariah about Rey, she says that he went back to Miami.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) then waltzes in all dressed up, and tells Sharon that no man is ever going to want a woman who’s had cancer. Sharon says she’s not alone and has Mariah, but Mariah says she decided to go on tour. Mariah says she made the decision after Sharon pushed her away following her diagnosis. Sharon screams at Mariah not to go and that she needs her. A nurse comes in with a chemo unit as Phyllis continues to argue with Sharon. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) then comes in to take Phyllis on a date, and as they’re leaving she pleads with them not to go because she can’t go with this alone.
Sharon awakens from her dream with Cassie back with her. Cassie tells her mother she doesn’t have to be afraid and reminds her that she’s not alone; she has people that love her.
Downstairs Mariah arrives and Rey informs her of Sharon’s chemo treatment. He says he’s staying the night in case Sharon needs him. He also tells Mariah that Sharon’s asleep upstairs. Mariah comments that she hopes Sharon’s getting enough rest and having a good dream.
Meanwhile, upstairs Sharon’s dream continues. In the dream, she goes downstairs to find her home has been transformed into an operating room. Mariah’s voice is heard saying that this is the day Sharon’s life changed forever. Mariah is hosting a talk show that has Rey, Nick, and Phyllis as her guests. Sharon watches as the three begin talking about her. Rey and Phyllis talk about how Sharon changed after the surgery, and Nick chimes in saying the kids were hit the hardest following Sharon’s transformation after the surgery.

Phyllis says it wasn’t worth it for Sharon to put her family through this just to buy extra time. After hearing their statements, Sharon wonders if the treatments didn’t work or if she made a mistake going through with them. As the talk show segment ends, Sharon goes back to the operating room and she starts to flatline on the table. Sharon screams at her body to wake up and fight, she then orders the doctors to save her.
Sharon’s dream continues with her going into the Grand Phoenix, where Phyllis takes her to radiation therapy. Sharon states she doesn’t need radiation therapy, but Rey and Mariah come in with pills and a cane. When she asks why she’s being treated this way, Mariah holds up the mirror and Sharon sees that she’s wearing a headscarf. Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) comes in crying for her mother. Cassie then appears and asks Sharon to come with her, she says don’t be afraid because it’s time to go home.

After her dream, Sharon goes downstairs to find Rey and Mariah. The two are discussing how Sharon’s a strong woman, and how they wish they could help without Sharon shutting them out. Sharon joins them and explains her dream about Cassie. Sharon says Cassie wanted to take her home, and she realized this was the home she was referring to. She admits she’s felt alone, but not anymore because she has her family. Rey and Mariah hug Sharon, then ask if there’s anything they can do. Sharon asks them to heat up a meal because she’s hungry. They begin cooking and later Nick and Faith stop by to join them for dinner. As Sharon watches them, she talks about what a lucky woman she is.
Later Sharon goes back upstairs to get some sleep. Faith and Mariah are cuddled in the bed with her as Cassie is watching them.
