Young And The Restless Spoilers: Jack Abbott Demands That Kyle Abbott Quit Marchetti

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest some major shakeups in the land of Genoa City. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) are on the cusp of a dramatic separation. From the looks of it, Kyle is about to get some news from his dad Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that he won’t want to hear.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Will Feel Betrayed

Y&R spoilers tease that Jack will feel as if it’s best that Kyle step down from his position at Marchetti. Mr. Abbott will tell his son that in light of all that is going on, work is all Summer has to hold on to, and Kyle should resign.

Mealor tells SOD that this all won’t sit well with Kyle. He’ll feel as if Jack is putting Summer’s needs before his own flesh and blood. Still, the young Abbott will understand that if he stays at Marchetti, he’ll be placed in an awkward position of having to work with his ex and that his company’s employees will have to put up with the awkwardness, too.

He decides to do “the right thing” and resign; however, Michael notes that this doesn’t mean that Kyle won’t hold this against everyone involved as he will feel as if he’s being “attacked”.

Meanwhile, Kyle will realize that as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is CEO of Jabot, there isn’t exactly another job opportunity anywhere near his doorstep. Mealor notes that Kyle will see that if he wants to stay employed, he has to remain with Marchetti. This has the young Abbott son speculating on whether or not this is all a scheme by his father to try and bring him and Summer back together.
