The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) will be forced to choose sides between her stepson, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and her grandnephew, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) this week on The Young and The Restless!
Cane Ashby Was Knocked Out And Dragged Into A Storage Garage In Las Vegas
Y & R viewers will recall that last week, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) was knocked out and dragged into a storage garage in Las Vegas, after connecting with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and trying to find Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll). He received a text from an individual purporting to be Chance, asking him to meet him somewhere, which turned out to be by some storage garages in an industrial section of town, and found himself waking up on the floor of a closed, but not locked, storage unit!
He found a table, a chair, and a document and his cell phone on the table; the document was an original copy of Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, but with him inheriting everything instead of Devon! He immediately called Jill, who had tried to call him several times, and let her know he was okay and heading back to Genoa City.
The Young And The Restless Promo, “A Counterfeit Will” Shows Some Of What Will Happen
Y & R released a promo video, “A Counterfeit Will” which shows some of what will happen. Cane arrives back in Genoa City, and he, Jill, Amanda Sinclair, (Mishael Morgan) Lily Winters Ashby, (Christel Khalil) and Devon get together and talk about the copy of the will that Cane found in the storage unit.
He will have them authenticated, and it sounds like the pages naming the heir may have been removed and replaced with counterfeit ones that were forged and attached to the will that was used at the reading of Katherine’s will shortly after she died – what Cane has are apparently the real pages! Jill is sure when she looks at them that they are legit, but Cane insists on having them authenticated anyway.
Jill Abbott Atkinson And Cane Ashby Go To Tell Devon Hamilton
In a separate scene, Jill and Cane talk to Devon and tell them the uncomfortable discovery; that the pages showing who his grandmother Katherine wanted to leave her money to were switched and the pages read from and the reading leaving the money to Devon were counterfeit and that now they have the real pages, authenticated!
Cane knows about the statute of limitations and acknowledges that they cannot challenge the will because it’s too late, but he and Jill felt Devon needs to know the truth so that he can decide what he wants to do; he asks Lily about it and she says it’s up to him. It sounds like, since Jill has to choose sides between the two men, that there may be some argument over it – likely started by Devon, since he had started arguing with Cane previously that Cane was behind the challenge. It seems like she may be partial to siding with Cane!
