The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers that the Monday, December 30 episode closed with a bang. Not only did Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) come face-to-face with Ian Ward (Ray Wise), who was comforting her wife, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), but Jordan (Colleen Zenk) shockingly chloroformed Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and dragged her away, just as she was heading toward Society to ring in the new year with loved ones. What is their end game with all this?

Y&R spoilers remind fans that Ian did a little eavesdropping recently and heard Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) revenge rant about Sharon, while at Society. Of course, he cracked a Grinch-like smile and ran back to tell Jordan how they could use this to their advantage.

Both Ian and Jordan need to do something to divert the attention away from them and onto someone else. W

ith the new evidence that has emerged regarding Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) murder, Sharon will essentially be cleared of all charges. This means they have to place the blame on someone else, and Phyllis could easily fall into their trap.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Is Framed For Everything

Sharon will get kidnapped, and Jordan is obviously behind it all, but it may not be to torture Sharon but rather set up a crime that will lead the police to believe Phyllis was behind it.

Phyllis has acted like a mad woman since she “connected” the dots to Sharon being behind Heather’s demise. Phyllis was half-right about the situation, and instead of listening to reason, she went out of her way to try and bury Sharon.

She’s also gone on public rants and cut people out of her life, like Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) for helping her “nemesis”. Plus, storming into Sharon’s cottage on Christmas Eve wasn’t a good look at all.

Could Jordan set up some evidence that points to Phyllis as the person who kidnapped Sharon?

This may lead someone to believe that she was the one who tampered with her meds and may also have people wondering if she killed Heather and faked her own car crash to gain ultimate revenge on her long-time rival.

After all, Phyllis has not been quiet about “knowing” Sharon was behind Heather’s demise, so someone could point to the idea that Phyllis simply created the scenario to get back at Sharon.

Sharon will believe Phyllis could do something like this, Michael may be convinced, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will believe it – but what about her kids, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier)?
