Time flies so fast and it’s already been a year since Jordi Vilasuso debuted his character Rey Rosales on “The Young and the Restless.”
The actor posted a brief video on Twitter to thank all everyone for all the support his received since joined the show. He expressed his gratitude for “all the love and support I’ve gotten this week for my one year anniversary of being on this incredible show.
“Young and the Restless has been an incredible journey. And the love and support I’ve gotten from you guys has just been so incredible.”
Young And The Restless News – Expressed Appreciation To Cast And Crew
Apart from thanking his fans and viewers, he also took the time to express his appreciation to the staff and crew of the sudser.
“So, thank you and here’s to you and here’s to Rey Rosales and the rest of the cast and crew here at The Young and the Restless and telling more great stories in Genoa City that you guys can enjoy and we can keep entertaining viewers for many more years to come. Take care.”
“The Young and the Restless” is not Vilasuso’s first foray in Daytime soaps. Viewers may recall him as Tony Santos on “Guiding Light.” During his stint on the said CBS show, his impeccable performance won him the Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Younger Leading Actor category back in 2003.
He also appeared on various other TV shows, including “CSI: Miami,” “All My Children” as Griffin, and “Days of Our Lives” as Dario. His other TV credits include “Fashion House,” “South Beach,” “The Glades,” and “Graceland.”

Since he first appeared on “The Young and the Restless,” viewers have known his alter ego as a caring family man and a faithful boyfriend to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

Spoilers for the show’s August 20 episode tease that Rey will be furious when he sees Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) flirting with Sharon. He’ll rant at his father, who in return snaps at him for being judgmental.
The confrontation between the two will heat up and Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) will jump in to stop them before things turn for the worse. She’ll also talk to Rey about his recent breakup with Sharon.

I don’t know and he’s got to get around his jealousy first about the ‘ADAM NEWMAN’
cause his name is going to be brought up on their conversation all the time.
Sharon will always worry about him and right now they are just friends.
It would be nice if it will go down this road for both of them, they had chemistry
but as soon as Adam goes to see her, that’s when the trouble begins like he has
no trust and that’s not the way to go about a relationship, its build on trust.
