Young And The Restless Spoilers: Kola Divorce Gets Ugly – Will Summer And Kyle Make It?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Abbott’s (Sasha Calle) agreement to divorce won’t end the bitterness that viewers have been witnessing. While Kola was once in love and is mutually parting, Mealor’s character and his unwanted cousin are still battling. That factor currently casts a shadow on the four people who are part of this soapy square.

What seemingly was Y&R’s most likable couple is now no more, replaced by a controversial pairing once and now again known as Skyle. Summer Newman (Hunter King) has been proven right, as has her ex-boyfriend, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). They were jealous of Kola, but that shared feeling was actually secondary to Tummer’s accurate assessment of Kyle and Lola’s longterm incompatibility.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Dina Mergeron’s Grandson Occupies Head Space

Theo and Kyle were buddies in New York. Kyle apparently tired of Johnson’s character while they were running the streets a number of years ago. But he didn’t express that feeling until 2019, while Theo was antagonizing him in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

A masterfully woven storyline included Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) backstory being expanded. As it turned out, Theo was her grandson as the result of an unknown connection she made decades ago.

Kyle was flabbergasted to learn that the guy who had become his nemesis was also blood. Implications of that reality then grew exponentially.

Y&R Spoilers – Lola Abbott Was Wronged

There’s no way around it, Lola was outright wronged by Kyle. While it’s truthful for him to state that he did love her, it has since come to light that Summer remained his soul mate.

Kola fans are almost as heartbroken as Lola. Calle’s nuanced performance projects the many levels of emotion that her alter ego is enduring, while also emitting the stages of grief that are linked to her marriage ending.

Kyle had to be pressed by his wife to acknowledge that he still had Summer in his heart. Viewers witnessed that painful admission in Society’s kitchen, which was fitting as Kyle first met the current Mrs. Abbott at Living La Vida Lola.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will Skyle Learn From The Past?

Summer forced Kyle to marry her last year. That happened because Lola needed life-sustaining liver transplant surgery. King’s character offered half of her organ, but on the condition that she become Kyle’s bride.

Kyle and Summer shared a legitimate bond before the dramatic events of the past two years. The rebooted Skyle should remarry only if a complete commitment from both sides is evident. Then they should start a family while also side-stepping whatever conflict Theo tries to push into their lives.
