Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lola’s Compassion For Theo Causes War – Kyle Outraged

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) may be getting herself into trouble soon. As Y&R viewers know, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) has been hanging around Lola quite a bit lately.

He’s stopped in the kitchen at Society a few times to talk with her about his desire to get back in the good graces of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Of course, Theo has totally alienated himself from Kyle at this point, with all of his talk about their old partying days and his little stunt of bringing Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) to town.

Theo always just seems to press his luck and doesn’t readily learn from his mistakes. And lately Lola has witnessed firsthand just how psychologically troubled Theo really is. Underneath it all, he seems to be a big softie, but he can’t seem to let his guard down and he acts out as a way of avoiding getting in touch with his feelings. He’s the king of self-sabotage, which he fully demonstrated when he pushed Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) into firing him, rather than just admitting to himself that the gig with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) wasn’t working out.

Well, Lola seems to have Theo’s number, as she’s been understanding the psychology of Theo more and more over the past days. And at the same time, Kyle has become more and more impatient and agitated with Theo. Kyle sees firsthand what Theo is doing to Summer Newman (Hunter King). He’s convinced that Theo is playing Summer and that she’s going to get hurt big time. Kyle has seen Theo play plenty of women over the years, and so he knows Theo’s pattern.

But while Kyle may be gravely worried about Summer and her well-being where Theo is concerned, it might just be Lola’s relationship with Theo that really irks Kyle. Recently, Lola has spent some time with Theo as Theo’s been hanging out at Society. It’s been pretty clear that Kyle doesn’t want Theo anywhere near Lola, and Kyle even got irritated with Lola when she seemed to defend him after his firing by Devon.

This all leads us to wonder whether (a) Lola might be the only person who can ultimately get Theo to really open up and deal with his clear emotional deficiencies, and (b) the whole thing might ultimately cause some huge problems for “Kola.” After all, Kyle and Lola recently had to stop talking about Theo because Kyle was getting so upset about the whole thing.

It certainly doesn’t seem like Theo is going to stop seeking out Lola’s friendship. They seem to get along well most of the time, and Lola really seems to care about Theo’s well-being. And Theo seems to have a vested interest in causing problems between Lola and Kyle, even if he doesn’t totally realize it. But soon, Kyle may get tired of seeing Theo’s influence everywhere he turns – first with Summer, then with Lola.

Could we see some major problems between Kyle and Lola soon, as a result of Lola’s friendship with Theo? Kyle could start getting distrustful of the situation and irritated with Lola’s continued defense of Theo. Kyle will probably feel that Theo is playing both Summer and Lola, which should really annoy him going forward. At any rate, we anticipate some serious “Kola” problems down the line, thanks to Theo’s influence.
