Y&R spoilers note that the Thursday, December 28th edition of the soap provided a ton of insight into this storyline. Lucy, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) spent NYE together at home, watching movies.
Of course, Lucy and Daniel ended up falling asleep. When Heather noticed this, she decided to snuggle into Daniel’s arms and fell asleep herself.
Lucy woke up at some point during the night, saw her parents in this cute, yet compromising position, and decided to snap a photo on her phone.
Shortly after she placed a blanket on them, the two woke up and shared a New Year’s kiss. #WhenTheCatsAwayTheMiceWillPlay

Y&R Spoilers – Lucy Romalotti Wants To See Her Parents Back Together
Y&R spoilers suggest that Lucy’s facial expressions changed during Thursday’s show when Daniel mentioned going to visit Lily while she’s helping Mattie Ashby (Lexi Stevenson) in the aftermath of her wildfire tragedy.
It’s not that she doesn’t like Lily, she likely just wants to see her parents reunite. Especially in light of her father cleaning up his act. Like any child, she wants her family back together.
Still, Lucy is Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) grandchild. Could she decide to take matters into her own hands?

If Daniel tries to cover up what happened on New Year’s Eve and lies to Lily about it, Lucy may decide to anonymously publish that photo on the Internet, whether that be on social media or a website.
She could also simply text or email the shot directly to Lily, under an unknown number or username. Either way, that photo will come back to haunt Daniel in a big way.
