When Victor (Eric Braeden) hired her to ghost light Sharon, Mariah was angry and broke and bitter. Fast forward to the present day when she’s become a capable businesswoman, built a loving relationship and reunited with Sharon. Is all of her hard-earned happiness about to fade to black?

Mariah is in limbo with her partner, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). The songstress has gone off to become a rock star (with her ex, no less) leaving Mariah to keep the home fires burning. With Fairbanks off-contract, it’s unlikely that these two will be spending significant time together going forward.

Unfortunately, Mariah will need all the support she can get in the coming days. When Sharon shares her breast cancer diagnosis with her family, they will all be devastated. Everyone will fear the worse understandably and have a difficult time coping with reality.

The news will be a huge blow to Mariah who already feels as if she’s missed too many years with her mom.
