The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mark Grossman Is A Standout Adam Newman
When asked what he thought of his Y&R character Grossman threw out a number of observations. He noted that a guy is a self-made man, not having grown up in the Newman fold.
“He made something of himself on Wall Street without using the Newman name,” he said, “and then he found out that Victor is his father. I think that changed things for him.”
It certainly has given Adam a chip on his shoulder, one that he just can’t seem to knock off. According to Grossman, “Adam thinks he’s more qualified to run the family business than his siblings because he’s the most like Victor, and whether Adam wants to admit it or not, he really wants Victor’s respect.”

At the moment Victor claims that Adam killed a man in his past, blanked out, and Victor covered it up to spare him.

What does Grossman think of his relationship with Chelsea, in particular how it relates to his murderous past? “I think Chelsea is more nervous about Adam uncovering something that could uproot his whole life.,” he says. “Adam is hoping Chelsea will be on his side, but I’m sure she’s afraid of what this could mean for them.”

Grossman was asked if he thinks his character will become even shadier as a result of current events. Here’s what he had to say: “I don’t think he wants that to happen but there’s always that potential.”

He noted that Adam really does seem to be after the truth of what transpired, “He just wants to know what really happened, and if it turns out to be true that Victor has been protecting Adam all of these years, he’ll have to re-examine everything about his life. Victor covering this up so Adam wouldn’t be emotionally crushed would be huge. If that’s the case, it could lead to some kind of reconciliation with them.”
What do you think fans, will Adam and Victor ever become as tight as Victor and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)?
I think they can repair it if they both really try. They both want it. And it is time.

As for New Enterprises……..
Victoria may be the oldest, but Adam is the one who should be running Newman Enterprises.
But, since the series seems to take every chance they get to stick it to Adam, i think Adam should start his own company and use it to slowly take over Newman Enterprises.
He can start out small and gradually become a force to be reckoned with. No one will know who is running this new company. It will be a big reveal to the Newman’s (not the audience) when they find out it’s Adam.
But, by then, the damage will be done. Newman Enterprises will be Adam’s and there will be nothing they can do to take it from him this time!!!!!!!

I hope they can. Tired of the writers always making Adam out to be the bad guy. Not fair.
I hope they do but I think they will always have doubt about each other. Adam should make peace with Victor and leave the Newman along and live his own life. Adam has a college degree in business so he start his own business let Victoria run Newman. He have a family that love him enjoy it before he lose it.
I think they will do that in their own way, Victor always loved his son Adam and and his own way Adam does have feelings for his dad.
