Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers note that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has had a hard go recently, dealing with Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) obsessive compulsive disorder, plus (OCD), his self-harm issues. Boyfriend Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has been a tremendous amount of support; however, fans have also seen her lean on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and the two have gotten closer.
During a recent interview, Melissa Claire Egan hinted that some “fun” things were ahead for her character, come the summer months.

During the 51st Annual Daytime Emmys, Michael Fairman TV was on the red carpet as soap stars were heading into the event, and he had an interview with Melissa.
He asked about “what’s ahead” for Chelsea, and Egan stated, “There is an amazing, juicy, fun storyline happening this summer…Chelsea’s involved in something that has been so much fun to play.”
Melissa also noted that she had to watch her words so that she didn’t “spill” too much. She added that Y&R viewers are going to “love it – or even if you don’t love it, you’re gonna feel passionate about it.”

Y&R spoilers for Monday, June 17 note that Chadam are going to lock hands during a video chat with Connor, further hinting that the exes are strengthening their bond during their child’s crisis.
Connor will have a strong breakthrough during the show, which will have his parents celebrating a small success.
Connor will overcome his OCD at some point in the months ahead, and in the aftermath, could Chadam cross a line? Things have gotten mighty interesting in this storyline as Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Adam’s girlfriend, has stepped in at Marchetti for Chelsea while she focuses on Connor.
As Sally keeps Chelsea’s job going, will Chelsea in turn snatch her man? Fans will have to tune in to see what happens next!
