Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday August 5: Christian Learns The Truth About His Dad, Theo and Phyllis Get Close, Billy and Chelsea Talk

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday August 5th indicate that Christian Newman (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) will learn Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) isn’t his father, while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) confides in Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Billy opens up to Chelsea

Chelsea is at Nick’s home discussing the inheritance from Calvin Boudreau (John Burke). She talks about her fashion business with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and says that her friend helped her a lot. Chelsea talks about how people continue to view her as a con and vows never to go back to that life.

When Nick receives a call that Adam is having a visit with Christian, he becomes angry. Chelsea calms him, then advises her not to interfere.

Later Nick meets Michael at Crimson Lights. Nick concludes that Adam knows a secret about Michael and that’s the reason he’s working for his brother. Nick says that Christian’s life is about to be disrupted thanks to Michael.

Chelsea arrives at Society and meets with Billy. He makes a remark about Calvin dying in his sleep and how we all should be so lucky. Chelsea announces she’s staying in town, and Billy says it’s a good thing she isn’t been sucked by in by Adam. Chelsea says that she and Connor are better off without him. Billy confides in Chelsea his dreams about Delia (Sophie Pollono) and the strange things that have been happening. He suspects Adam had something to do with it, but Chelsea says he wouldn’t do such a thing.

Later Billy comes home and tries to rest, but can’t sleep.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Theo and Phyllis bond

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is at Society when Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) arrives and once again insists on planning a bachelor party. Kyle is angry at Theo for making Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) think he’s a bad guy. Theo taunts Kyle by saying there’s more she needs to know. Kyle accuses Theo of sabotaging his relationship with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) because he wants his party buddy back, but Theo says he understands Kyle is moving on.

Phyllis interrupts their conversation and chastises Kyle for hurting her daughter Summer Newman (Hunter King). Later Theo and Phyllis are alone, and he talks about his idea for the Grand Phoenix launch party. Phyllis says she admires Theo and says they’re alike in a lot of ways. Talk then turns to Summer and how Kyle broke her heart. Phyllis makes a comment about people making up stories about themselves because they don’t want to face the reality of who they really are.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) meets Kyle at Crimson Lights, where he discusses his frustrations with Theo. Mariah advises Kyle not to let Theo get to him. Kyle brings up Phyllis, and Mariah says to forget about Summer and her mother. Kyle talks about his marriage to Summer, says it was a loveless one and they’d both be miserable. Mariah offers to throw a bachelor/bachelorette party for Kyle and Lola. Kyle’s all for the idea and tell Mariah to go for it.

Back at Society, Theo and Phyllis discuss business. Theo remarks that Phyllis does all the hard work and Adam gets the glory. Phyllis then hints that she’s got a secret plan up her sleeve.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Adam creates drama

At his penthouse, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is negotiating a deal with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) over a piece of property called the Grand Phoenix. When Adam refuses her offer, Phyllis leaves. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) arrives soon after to tell Adam he filed a petition for Adam to have a visit with Christian. Adam reminds Michael that he’s attorney, but soon he’ll have the D.A. position. He thanks Michael for his help then leaves.

Adam goes to Chancellor Park, where Billy confronts about the messages on the wall and Delia’s doll. Adam proclaims his innocence and says he’d never do anything that horrible. He then tells Billy he has a visit with Christian today, and Billy tells him to cherish the moment. Adam then calls Nick to tell him about the judge’s order, he says he’ll be seeing Christian today and telling the boy that he’s his father.

Later at the park, Adam and Christian are playing soccer. Adam talks about learning to play from Victor. Adam then asks Christian if he remembers Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). He tells Christian that he and Connor are brothers because Adam is Connor and Christian’s dad. Just as Adam is revealing the truth, Nick arrives.
