Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, December 16: Adam Asks Phyllis For A Favor, Abby and Chance Go On A Date, and Sharon Makes Plans

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, December 16 indicate that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will ask Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for a favor, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) go on a date, and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) makes plans for Christmas.

Adam and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) visit the ranch. While Connor goes to see the horses, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) chats with Adam and offers her empathy over Connor’s problems. She then tells Adam that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) isn’t home, and Adam says he just brought Connor to the ranch to have fun while he and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) figure out what to do. Adam then mentions how the school doesn’t want Connor to return after the holiday break, and Nikki is angry. She offers to help, but Adam tells her not to interfere. He says they’ve made progress with Connor, now this feels like it’s taking a step back. Nikki says if he needs to talk, Victor would be happy to listen. Adam thanks Nikki for her help, then leaves.

Later Chelsea arrives home with Connor, she explains the conversation she had with Sharon and Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan). Chelsea thinks it’s a good idea they pull him out of school, then figure something out. Adam says they’ll figure something out together.

Y&R Spoilers–Sharon Newman’ Makes Christmas Plans

Sharon is at Crimson Lights chatting with Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) and thanking her for helping out during Thanksgiving. Their conversation is interrupted when Chelsea comes in. Chelsea explains to Sharon how the principal doesn’t want Connor coming back to school, and she worries on how to tell the news to Connor. Chelsea then wonders if they can fight the school legally, and Sharon introduces her to Amanda. Chelsea explains her case to Amanda, who advises Chelsea may consider looking at other schools or star home-schooling Connor.

Meanwhile, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) stops by asking if Sharon can have lunch. She says she can’t leave, but kisses him. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) comes in to see the couple. Mariah begins talking about Christmas plans, and Sharon and Rey decide they want to spend the holiday together.

Young & Restless Spoilers– Adam Newman’s Big Favor

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) arrives at Society and spots Phyllis at the bar. Phyllis brings up how Nick’s without Chelsea again, and he brings up her firing and feud with Abby. Nick wonders if Phyllis is up to no good, but she promise she’s not here to cause trouble for Abby or the restaurant. Nick says Abby had a good reason for firing her and recommend Phyllis find something else. Phyllis remarks she needs a throne, not a job. Nick says he believes in Phyllis and says she doesn’t need to rely on dirty tricks to get ahead in life. Adam arrives to see Nick and Phyllis together, then steps outside to send Phyllis a text to meet him later. Phyllis sees Adam’s message and tells Nick she has to leave.

Phyllis arrives at Adam’s place, where he says he’s got a plan to get them both what they want. Adam says Chelsea’s stressed, and thinks the reason is because she’s torn between him and Nick. Adam suggests that Phyllis pursue Nick, the man she loves. Phyllis asks if Adam wants her to seduce Nick, and Adam says it’ll make thing right again. An angry Phyllis yells at Adam and says she’s not his minion. Adam pleads his case and says that Phyllis has been getting cozy with Nick lately. He then asks what the problem is and Phyllis responds it’s because of Adam. He thought they were supposed to be partners in crime, and Phyllis talks about him having no respect for her. She then warns he’ll regret this mistake.

Later Nick arrives at the ranch, where Nikki updates him about Connor’s situation. She then says that when she was talking to Adam, he referred to him, Chelsea, and Connor as a family. But Nikki doesn’t think Adam’s manipulating anyone. Nick brings up his conversation with Chelsea about how he’s unsure if he can keep this up much longer. Nikki suggests Nick to something about Chelsea.

Phyllis goes back to Society to see that Nick’s gone, but he left his credit card. She mentions to the waitress she was going to tell him something about his brother that could blow things up, but she decided against it and is taking the high road. As Phyllis walks out, Nick is shown watching her.

Abby and Chance’s date

At the Grand Phoenix, Abby is getting ready to leave and tells the employee in charge of their instructions.

Chance and Abby arrive at Society and briefly chat with Nick before he has to leave for the ranch. The couple take their seats at the table. They flirt with each other, then talk about Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and Chance’s career plans. Chance says he’ll figure it out, but just wants to live in the moment for the time being. Chance recommends going someplace else for dessert, then kisses Abby.
