Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday March 9: Victor Makes His Choice, Chelsea Vows Revenge, and Amanda and Billy Kiss

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday March 9th indicate that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) makes his choice regarding the CEO position, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) vows revenge, and Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) kiss.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Nick and Phyllis the morning after

At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) home, he and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and talk about last night. Phyllis then decides to leave just as Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) comes in the room. When Nick asks why she’s leaving so soon, she says last night was about sex and she doesn’t want to go down that road again.

As she’s about to leave, she asks how Nick feels about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) possibly being appointed CEO of Newman Enterprises. Nick says he doesn’t want any part of the family company, and Phyllis calls him stubborn. She mentions that while she’d love to see Adam destroy Newman Enterprises, she knows it’ll affect others, including Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Phyllis says Nick is the one who can prevent any damage from being done.

Later Phyllis bumps into Chelsea at Crimson Lights. When Chelsea makes a comment about Phyllis’ attire, Phyllis informs her she spent the night at Nick’s place. Chelsea thinks the timing’s interesting. Phyllis then brags about having Chelsea’s hotel shares and gloats that she won and Chelsea lost.

Phyllis goes back to her hotel room, and spots the towels on the floor. She then notices her laptop’s destroyed and the thumb drive is gone. Realizing Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) broke into her room, Phyllis says Abby hasn’t won this game.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Kyle interrogates Theo

At Society, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) wake up and notice a sleeping Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) across the room. Summer suggests they leave, but Kyle just stares at the two.

Later Lola and Theo are talking about Kyle’s reaction to seeing them. Theo says Kyle deserves it after the way he flaunted his relationship with Summer in front of Lola. She admits she saw him watching them and liked that he was angry. Theo says he likes that Lola has an edgy side to her. When Theo tries to kiss Lola, she stops him. She tells him that she likes him, but she wants to take things slow and make sure this is real before they head to the next stage. Theo says he respects her wishes and says she’ll be worth waiting for.

Summer stops by her dad’s place and tells him about her and Kyle’s night at Society. When she asks about Phyllis spending the night, Nick admits they hung out, and Summer’s glad to hear that. Nick then tells her he’ll be the new CEO of Newman Enterprises, and Summer says she’s happy for him.

Theo arrives at Jabot to discuss his ideas on a new campaign, but notices Kyle’s upset. Kyle says he’s fine, then tells Theo his idea isn’t good enough. Theo says Kyle’s attitude is more about his personal life than professional, but Kyle denies the accusation. Theo brings up Kyle and Summer sneaking out this morning and not bothering to thank Lola for letting them stay. Theo promises he’s going to be there every step of the way for Lola, unlike Kyle who left her. Kyle asks if Theo cares about Lola or if this is just another way to get back at him. Theo says he cares about Lola and thinks she’s a special woman, and the bonus of it making Kyle angry is icing on the cake.

Summer goes back to Society claiming she left her scarf, but Lola suspects there’s another reason for her visit. Summer warns Lola about Theo. She says he’s a fun guy to be around, but he can use people and hold grudges. Lola tries to walk way saying she doesn’t want to hear this, but Summer says there’s more. Summer says she notices when Theo’s around Lola, he seems like a better person, one she never knew existed. Summer says if Lola wants to get together with Theo, it would be for the best and Summer would be happy for the couple.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Amanda and Billy kiss

In Amanda’s hotel room, Billy wakes up beside her in bed. Seconds later Amanda wakes up and says for the first time in a while, she had a peaceful night’s sleep. Amanda gets out of bed to shower, and Billy goes to fetch breakfast.

Later Amanda says that with Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) behind bars, she feels that she’s finally free. Billy says he feels the same way when he’s with her. Amanda talks about her and Billy’s complicated relationship, and Billy says it feels right, and he wants to take a chance on them. Billy kisses Amanda, who is stunned, then begins kissing him. After they pull apart, they decide it’s time Billy leaves.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Victor makes his choice for CEO

Adam is still at the ranch with Victor discussing his parenting style with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Victor thinks Connor should be taught to toughen up and not coddled, but he understands Adam’s doing what he has to do to protect his family. Their talk then turns to the CEO position, but they’re interrupted when Nick calls to tell his father he wants the CEO spot. When Adam learns that Victor’s appointing Nick as CEO, he’s upset. He accuses Victor of leading him on and says Nick pulled this stunt to make sure Adam wouldn’t get the CEO job. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Chelsea come into the room as Adam tells his father that there’s further strain in their relationship that may not be fixed.

Later after Adam leaves, Nikki inquires if Victor was going to give Adam the CEO position. Victor admits he was, but Nick was always his first choice.

Nick meets Victor at Newman Enterprises, and says him being CEO is temporary. Victor says Adam knows Nick has the job, and he’s upset. However, Victor is ready to concentrate on work.

Adam and Chelsea are at their penthouse, and Adam mentions wanting to go to Kansas. Chelsea says she knows Adam wants revenge on Victor for turning him down for the CEO position. Chelsea gives her support to him and offers to help him with his plot.
