Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and as kiddos celebrate their moms all over the world, it’s hard not to think about all the momma bears in the land of soap operas. Genoa City has its fair share of incredible moms, so below are three of some of the best mothers that reside on the Young and the Restless (Y&R) currently.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Hasn’t Always Been Perfect, But She Has Been Supportive
Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has certainly had her ups and downs over the years, but one thing she’s always tried to be is a supportive mom. Even as her children live out their best adult lives, Sharon is always present and supportive.
Sharon’s been there for Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes), Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), and Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) multiple times over, whenever they needed her over the years; however, when Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) first came to town, she did all she could to get under her mom’s skin. Sharon’s reaction was not revenge, rather, she remained focused on nurturing her to help Copeland come around. This is a true testimony to Sharon’s kind heart and patience with her children.
Y&R Spoilers – Everyone Often Forgets About Lily Winters
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is sometimes forgotten about when fans think of awesome soap moms. Maybe it’s because she’ll forever be known as a “daddy’s girl” to Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). Still, Lily went through a tremendous journey to have her twins, turning to Mackenzie Brown (Kelly Kruger) as a surrogate because Winters had ovarian cancer.
It couldn’t have been easy, managing twins as babies and going through double the work at the same time during each stage of Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Maddie Ashby’s (Lexi Stevenson) lives, but she did so with ease. While her kids are older, they are never far from her mind. Undeniably, Lily is a role model in the land of soaps when it comes to how a mom should be.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tracy Abbott Continues To Play “Mom” For Most In GG
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) did a great job raising Colleen Carlton (Tammin Sursok) over the years and went through a major mourning period after her daughter passed away in 2009. Since, she’s become a mothering figure to many within Genoa City, including her own siblings as she’s often the one to play “peacemaker” between them all. Still, she’s become a shoulder for many other young women to lean on over the years, including Colleen’s bestie Lily, as well as her daughter’s half-sister/cousin, Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway).
