Young & The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Asks Amanda Sinclair To Help Him With A Legal Matter

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) encounters Nate Hastings in the Grand Phoenix, where she tells him she is belatedly taking his advice and leaving Genoa City, now that the Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) will business is concluded.

Nate, however, asks her if she could help him with a legal matter before she leaves town. As they continue to converse, it sounds like they may make a connection and realize they have more in common than they realize. Nate just broke up with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), citing they were on two different paths that would never meet in the middle. Could Nate have been subconsciously influenced in his break up with Abby by an attraction to Amanda? It’s possible, but remains to be seen!

Y&R Spoilers – Nate Hastings Finds That His Career May Be At Risk Due To His Involvement In The Fake Death Scheme

Nate finds that his career may be at risk due to his involvement in helping fake Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) death; after all, he falsely pronounced him dead when the ambulance came and probably set up some fake 911 first responders as well.

He would have had to falsify some medical records as well to make Victor’s death believable, and even if he would not be in legal trouble there is still the ethical part of involving himself in such a charade! Abby blew it off as an everyday part of being a Newman, and that is what Nate took exception with. He’s not sure he wants to be in a situation where he could eventually marry into such a family, it’s bad enough being the family physician for the Newmans!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – The Legal Matter Nate Hastings Asks For Amanda Sinclair’s Help With May Be Connected To The Fake Death Scheme

The legal matter that Nate asks for Amanda’s help with may indeed be connected to the fake death scheme, and he may want some advice as to what parts connected to it that he could be legally culpable for, and what the ramifications may be legally, if any. Nate is worried about his career and his reputation and so he doesn’t want any potential scandals haunting his resume! Nate is an honest, upfront kind of guy and isn’t comfortable with fake death schemes and the like although he wants to help Victor conquer his rare blood disease, and wouldn’t want to have to shift his medical care to another physician since Nate is so familiar with Victor’s case.

However, if the Newmans were to place Nate in another questionable situation like helping fake Victor’s death, he will want to know what they could actually do legally if he were to decline involving himself in another questionable scheme and they threaten legal action against him in response, by exposing his involvement in the fake death. This may be more of something Amanda feels is in her expertise, not to mention she will be relieved to have a friend in Genoa City!
