Nick’s vow to bring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) down signals the start of what should be an epic sibling rivalry sequel. Grossman’s character was surprised to hear his brother say that the game is on. Adam is ready and will embrace the challenge.
Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) youngest son sees him as feeble, which is a mistake. While the Moustache is currently battling a rare blood disease, there’s little doubt that he’ll not only beat the malady, but also strongly resist his resentful son’s continued bad actions.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Supports Nick
Along with the above is Victor having mended fences with Nicholas. He fully supports Nick remaining the sole father figure in Christian Newman’s (Jamie and Alister Tobias) life and will surely do whatever he can to further that goal.
The smirk that’s perpetually pasted on Adam’s face represents exactly what he’s said about himself. He’s smart, young, strong and therefore sees all others as beneath him and beatable.
Nick doesn’t take Adam lightly. Tactically he’s chosen to announce the beginning of their one-on-one battle in response to what the Christian custody case has created.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Christian Moves In With Victoria
Christian is doing fine with his court appointed temporary guardian. Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) has her nephew’s best interests at heart. However, this three-month stay will eventually end, with Nick, or Adam winning full custody.

An alternative option would have some type of shared custody arrangement. That would seem to create the most ongoing conflict, which fuels daytime drama.
Stopping Adam in business has already become one of Nick’s early successes. Getting numerous properties back from Dark Horse, that Adam bought fair and square through obtained debt, was unexpected. Nick rightly credits Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) unexpected partnership with Vickie for this gift.
An outcome of the Dark Horse real estate divestiture allows Adam to be prepared for another power-based assault, though he’s really only using the company Nick founded as a toy right now. So, he and the viewers are right to think that Nick will focus more on the personal.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is someone that Adam already has sway over. She’s under his spell, as people have been saying. That establishes Adam as a thorny presence in Nick’s personal life, due to the interaction he has with Sharon through their daughter, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), who will be back from summer camp soon.
Adam’s play for Sharon is actually defensive, as Chelsea Boudreau (Melissa Claire Egan) voluntarily chose to return to Nick, spurning her undead and apparently legally former husband. So savvy viewers are expecting Chick and Shadam to face off, rather than just Nick verses Adam as this arc advances.
