Young And The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis And Billy Both Hit Rock Bottom – Philly Needs Each Other

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that things are about to get a whole lot worse before they get better for Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), aka the midlife crisis kids.

The fact that these two are experiencing a serious downturn in life isn’t that surprising–neither is exactly the boy or girl next door. What is surprising however is the fact that neither has bothered to look the obvious solution in the face.

The Young and the Restless spoilers – Billy Boy is in deep

We’re not sure if TPTB has run out of options for Billy, but his latest “solution” is anything but promising. Poor Billy is at loose ends, but he has been for some time.

His latest downward spiral began when back-from-the-dead Adam (Mark Grossman) suddenly popped back up in Genoa City. Shortly thereafter he started to have what seemed to be PTSD, a result of Adam having killed his young daughter years ago.

But that story went nowhere. Sure, Billy tried to run Adam over, but at the last minute, he was saved from a long-term prison sentence by Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) who nursed him back to health in the boathouse.

Prior to that, it looked as if a DID storyline was in the works for Billy. Remember his gum-chewing alter? Now, it appears his story has been 180’d to include a crisis of confidence which culminated in him leaving Jabot. Alas, that too has ended badly as striking out on his own is over now that his current consulting gig is up.

On top of that, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is perturbed that he’s stopped seeing his therapist.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis needs to man up

On the other side of town, the once fierce Phyllis is relegated to scooping up the money others leave behind for bar tabs. Adding insult to injury she’s being rejected by the likes of everyone including the newbie no one likes, Amanda (Mishael Morgan).

Strike that, Billy likes her a lot. Probably too much.

What Phyllis needs is a good kick in the pants, she’s becoming a simpering wimp, not to mention a bore. Remember Hurricane Phyllis who once took no prisoners? Even her millennial daughter Snowflake Summer (Hunter King) has no use for her woebegone shell of a mom.

The Young and the Restless spoilers – Why haven’t Phyllis and Billy teamed up?

Given their current state of affairs (no pun intended) the obvious solution for Billy and Phyllis is Philly 32.0!

Explosive show spoilers reveal that Billy will continue to turn to Amanda for comfort, but all may not be as it seems. Billy’s conscience is tugging at him, and Amanda has made it clear she’s in no hurry to make another mistake in the man department.
