Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers state that there will be more shockers on the horizon when it comes to the Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) “faking death” storyline. She’ll soon stab Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in self-defense, essentially killing her co-conspirator.

Red reveled in seeing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) get arrested at her memorial; however, now that she’s experienced Stark and his insanity firsthand, will she realize the error of her ways and exonerate her rival?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Comes Back To GC With Quite The Story

Y&R spoilers imply there’s no way that Phyllis will return and admit to faking her own death. However, she could come back and claim that Jeremy was behind the entire thing. There’s also a chance that she tries to pin Diane as a co-schemer with Stark, but would she do that?

Red has a second chance at a clean slate. Not only in life, but with her kids, and other relationships in the little town. She could take the low road and implicate Diane in Jeremy’s scheme, which would likely send Jenkins to prison. But since Diane was right about Stark and his dangerous ways, escaping real death could shake Phyllis enough into doing the right thing.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Returns To GC A Bonefide Hero In Everyone’s Eyes

If Phyllis came back and exonerated Diane, she’d look like a true hero. Not only in the eyes of Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) but also Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

In fact, she may ultimately end up turning the tables on Diane by acting as the bigger person. She’ll swing back into GC, everyone will be happy she’s alive, and Red will “save” Diane, which Jenkins may resent.

In fact, Diane may end up looking like a vile person if she (and when) continues to bad-talk Phyllis and hold on to their rivalry. Jack may see Phyllis in a new light and re-ignite their friendship, which would upset Jenkins to no end, as well.

Exonerating Diane might be a hard thing for Phyllis to do, but would she end up looking like a hero if she did? Share your thoughts on this storyline, below. Check out the Y&R on CBS daily to see the drama unfold and visit this site for all the latest Young and the Restless news and spoilers.
