To boot, in her grief, Sally is placing all the blame on Adam’s shoulders.

Mr. Newman will struggle in the weeks ahead. Sharon’s always had a soft spot in her heart for Adam, so she’ll want to make sure she’s there for him. Other than Sally, Adam doesn’t have anyone to talk to about his feelings. He’s always felt comfortable and supported by Ms. Rosales, that he can show his vulnerable side without fearing judgment. Sure, he has his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to talk to, but they’ve always had a complicated relationship.

There’s a budding romance between Sharon and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), but nothing’s “concrete” yet. The soap seems to be stalling with this couple, and there may be a good reason for that. Adam has no one to turn to in the little town, so when he does reach out to his only friend, will the two experience sparks? This would certainly create an interesting dynamic, as a Shadam reunion will rub Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) the wrong way and he is currently with Ms. Spectra.
