Young And The Restless Spoilers: Storyline Red Flags – Is Lucy Romalotti’s Life Going To End In Same Way Cassie Newman’s Did?

Young And The Restless Spoilers: Storyline Red Flags – Is Lucy Romalotti’s Life Going To End In Same Way Cassie Newman’s Did?Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest disaster is on the horizon, with so many pieces of the puzzle forming right now within a pivotal storyline.

On the one hand, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is getting flooded with tragic memories around her daughter, Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) death, and acting strange.

It’s hard to say if her trauma is resurfacing or if it’s because of a change in bipolar medication. In addition, this arc seems to be focusing on Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) part in Cassie’s passing. While he did play a role, it was completely unintentional.

Meanwhile, at the same time, there’s an interesting story unraveling between Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant). It feels as if history could be repeating itself in the land of GC in the worstway possible.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Red Flag #1 – Lucy Romalotti Faith, But The Feeling Isn’t Mutual

Y&R spoilers note there are red flags that this storyline won’t end well. First off, Lucy admires Faith and is desperate to pursue a friendship. She’s younger than Ms. Newman and looks up to the college student.

Still, while Faith likely believes Lucy is a sweet kid, she’s interested in hanging out with people her own age. It also looks like she’s starting to get annoyed by Lucy.

If fans recall, Cassie had a crush on Daniel back in the day. Much like Lucy, Cassie was younger and while the two were “friends”, she wanted much more.

While Lucy just wants to be besties with Faith, it’s hard not to shake that there are a lot of similarities when it comes to the dynamics between Lucy and Faith, as well as Daniel and Cassie.

Y&R Spoilers – Red Flag #2 – Sharon Newman’s Negative Memories About Daniel Have Been Triggered

Y&R spoilers remind fans that Sharon ran into Lucy, Daniel, and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) at Society when a memory resurfaced surrounding Cassie’s death. It was a scene where Sharon lashed out at Daniel for playing a role in Cassie’s death.

At that time, everyone thought he caused the car crash because he was driving drunk when in reality it was due to Cassie being underage and getting behind the wheel to get Daniel home.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Red Flag #3 – Boozey-Booze-Booze!

The talk of alcohol and underage drinking has been dropped numerous times! Faith told Lucy when they first met that she doesn’t drink because of a bad incident in the past.

Lucy is desperate to go to a party that Faith is attending, where there will be alcohol; and Daniel was drunk and passed out at a party when Cassie found him all those years ago, deciding to drive him home.

As Sharon is reeling over Cassie’s death right now, there’s also a chance that Faith could get injured or die; however, there’s nothing like irony in daytime, so could something happen where Lucy gets behind the wheel, trying to save the day for Faith, a car accident occurs, and Lucy passes away!

Sharon would finally understand Daniel’s point of view, if that was the case, while Daniel would truly feel what Sharon’s dealt with all these years.

I already don’t like that storyline. Why try to write the past storylines in a different way. I know it’s for putting this out in public regarding drinking and driving. But kids are not watching the soaps, so these writers are not keeping up with the times. We are the retired or homemakers or working from home that watches soaps. Even though school is out the kids are playing
computer games or outside or at the park. The times
has passed for these types of storylines. Don’t loose your audience.

Boy, are you right Joe. I can just see my 13 yr.old grt.grandaughter watching the Soaps , with or without me. It’s ludicrous, she’s doing what kids do these days and it ain’t watching Soaps.

I hope they don’t go down this rabbit hole it was bad enough with Cassie passing it would be senseless now decades later
Let these two have an honest conversation be ticked off then come together with a friendship with boundaries
Tired of the extreme same for Sharon
That Lady has been put through the ringer
